This Payment & Refund Policy (the “Policy”) explains how MEDIA FOR YOU LTD (“MEDIA FOR YOU LTD“, “we“, “our“, “us“) handles customer payments, billing, chargebacks and refunds for purchases made via shotcrate.com (the “Site”). This Policy forms part of our Terms & Conditions of Service and capitalised terms have the same meanings.

2. Currency & Tax

  • Prices are quoted and payable in the currency shown at checkout (default: GBP).
  • UK VAT (20 %) is included unless the order qualifies for zero-rating or reverse-charge. VAT-registered Business Users can enter a valid VAT number to remove VAT where applicable.
  • You are responsible for any local withholding taxes, import duties or similar charges imposed by your jurisdiction.

3. Billing: One-Off Purchases vs Subscriptions

3.1 One-Off Purchases

  • The full purchase price is captured immediately upon our acceptance of your Order (see T&Cs Section 4).

3.2 Subscriptions

  • You authorise recurring charges to your selected payment method each billing cycle (monthly or annual, as chosen at checkout).
  • We will email a renewal reminder at least 7 days before the next charge (for annual plans) unless otherwise required by law.
  • You can cancel at any time in your Account dashboard; benefits remain active until the end of the paid-up period and no prorated refunds are issued for early cancellation.

4. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

  • If you dispute a charge with your card issuer (“Chargeback”), you must also notify us at info@shotcrate.com within 7 days so we can attempt an amicable resolution.
  • We reserve the right to suspend your Account during a Chargeback investigation.
  • Proven fraudulent or abusive Chargebacks may result in termination of your Licence and Account (see T&Cs Section 15).

5. Refund Policy for Digital Content

5.1 Statutory Right of Withdrawal (Consumers)

  • Under Regulation 29(1) of the UK Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you have 14 days to cancel a digital-content contract unless download or streaming has begun with your prior express consent and acknowledgement that your cancellation right is lost.
  • At checkout we obtain your consent to immediate delivery; therefore no automatic right to change your mind applies once Digital Content is delivered.

5.2 Defective or Non-Delivered Files

We will provide a free replacement download link or, if we cannot remedy the issue within 72 hours, a full refund of the purchase price.

5.3 Duplicate or Accidental Purchases

Upon request within 14 days of purchase we may, at our sole discretion, refund accidental duplicate transactions if the files have not been used commercially.

5.4 Subscription-Related Refunds

  • Subscription fees are non-refundable except where technical faults on our side prevent access to more than 48 consecutive hours of the Service and we fail to restore service within a further 24-hour grace period; in such cases we will apply a pro-rata credit to your Account.

5.5 Goodwill Refunds

Nothing in this Policy limits our ability to issue goodwill refunds or credits beyond statutory obligations.

6. How to Request a Refund

  1. Email info@shotcrate.com with subject line “Refund Request – Order #[number]”.
  2. Include: (a) proof of purchase (order ID, date, email), (b) reason for refund, (c) confirmation that the Digital Content has not been used in breach of the Licence.
  3. We aim to respond within 2 business days and resolve valid claims within 5 business days.

7. Refund Method & Timing

  • Approved refunds will be credited to the original payment method. If that is not possible (e.g., expired card), we may issue the refund via bank transfer or PSP-provided store credit.
  • Processing times vary by provider but typically appear on your statement within 5–10 business days.

8. Exchange Rates & Foreign Currencies

If your payment is made in a currency different from the currency of your card or bank, your provider may apply its own exchange rate and fees. Red & Brick Ltd is not responsible for currency-conversion variances.

9. Policy Updates

We may update this Policy to reflect changes in law, payment-processor requirements or business practices. Material changes will be notified at least 14 days in advance via email or on-Site notice. Continued use of the Services after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
